Ohio Fidelity Title Agency, LLC. is a full service title agency providing residential and commercial escrow and title services in all 88 Ohio counties. From our central location in Summit County, Ohio, we can accommodate all types of real estate transfers and refinance transactions.
Attorney and founder David Kennedy has had over 40 years of experience in the real estate, lending and title industries. Mr. Kennedy received his bachelor's degree in business management and economics from Miami University in 1978 and his Law Degree from the University of Akron in 1986. He has been in the private practice of law at the same location in Norton Ohio since 1989. Much of his practice has focused on the areas of commercial and residential real estate transactions. Prior to that, he worked for 10 years in the banking industry as a loan officer and branch manager. In the early 1990’s David opened and managed a branch office for Midland Commerce Group. In 1998, he started Ohio Fidelity Title Agency Inc.
In January, 2018, Ohio Fidelity Title Agency, Inc. merged with Transfer Title Agency, Inc., and is now known as Ohio Fidelity Title Agency, LLC., a wholly owned subsidiary of Transfer Title Agency, Inc. Transfer Title, owned by Attorneys Rob Skidmore and Lee Skidmore of Medina, has been providing the same residential and commercial real estate title services in all 88 Ohio counties since 1967. Both agencies have been authorized policy issuing agents for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, one of the Nation’s largest and most successful title insurance underwriters.
Ohio Fidelity will maintain its current office in Norton, and Attorney David Kennedy will remain part of the management team and will serve as its General Counsel and Licensed Title Agent. Attorney Rob Skidmore will assume responsibility for the day to day operations. Escrow Officer Connie Carlton will take over the escrow responsibilities, and Vice President Steve Swain will oversee the title office.
